Dr. Sharon H. Breeden, the pastor of Mt. Moriah The Word Church, is a native of Quitman, GA, in Brooks County, where she was reared, educated, and nurtured. She is the wife of Elder Alton Breeden, a mother, a grandmother, a sister, the published author of SUNDAY MORNING TEACH - A CLARION CALL FOR DIVINE ALIGNMENT, the holder of her own trademark, and a certified retired educator who served in the public school sector for 43 years in multiple capacities. Dr. Breeden is also a Board Certified/Licensed Christian Counselor under the NACC (National Association of Christian Counselors).
John 15:16 - Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
God's calling to Dr. Breeden for "Building and Equipping The Saints: Ezekiel 3:1-4 - 1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. 2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. 4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. Truly, God gets all the glory, for she is a testimony of walking out what God declared in Jeremiah 29:11: “He knows the plans He has for our lives.”
God ordained her to write and share with the world, Sunday Morning Teach - A Clarion Call to Divine Alignment, which is a fresh wind for personal God-relationship building while provoking cultivation of a deeper, personal God-awareness in each reader of those messages in this season and beyond.
Dr. Breeden loves the Lord and loves to teach the Word of God! She shares the unadulterated gospel of Christ whenever the opportunity presents itself; whether it is Wednesday night Bible Study or Sunday Morning Worship Service. She launched Mt. Moriah: The Word Church YouTube Channel on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 which contains weekly Inspirational messages and Phase 2 - Sunday Morning Teach on Friday, April 3, 2026 (teachings from her book) which can also be found on the church’s YouTube Channel.
